Note: The Share to Classroom Chrome extension is being deprecated. If you installed the extension, it will automatically uninstall on August 15, 2020.
You can use the Share to Classroom Chrome extension to send a webpage from your computer to your teacher. Your teacher can also send webpages to your computer using the extension.
You can only use the Share to Classroom extension with Chrome Browser on computers.
Share a webpage with your teacher
You and your teacher must have the extension installed to share webpages with each other. For instructions, see Install the Share to Classroom Chrome extension.
Note: When you share a webpage, it can't be undone.
- If you haven’t already, sign in to your Classroom account.
- Open Chrome Browser and go to the webpage that you want to share.
- Next to the address bar, click Share to Classroom .
- Click the name of your teacher's class. If you haven’t joined a class yet, click Join class to open Classroom.
- Click Push to teacher.
Your teacher gets a message that you shared the webpage.
See recently shared webpages
- If you haven’t already, sign in to your Classroom account.
- Open Chrome Browser and next to the address bar, click Share to Classroom .
- Click the class.
- Choose an option:
- To review the webpages that you recently shared with your teacher, click Pushed to teacher.
- To review the webpages that your teacher recently shared with you, click Received from teacher.
The list of webpages updates automatically. You’ll only see the webpages that you and your teacher have shared in the last 18 hours. You can't remove webpages from the list yourself.
