You can see a list of an individual student’s assignments, grades, and missing work all in one place. You can filter the list by status—turned in, returned with grade, or missing. You can also email it to the student and their guardian.

Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In.
Sign in with your Google Account. For example, [email protected] or [email protected]. Learn more.
- Click the class.
- At the top, click People and then the student's name.
Note: You can only view the work of a student who has joined the class.

Check this page for:
- The list of the student’s assigned work for the class—assignments, questions, or quizzes—with the due date, if there is one.
- The status of work assigned, turned in, late, or missing.
- Any grades for classwork.
- Any attachments to submissions. You’ll see File next to the work.
- If the student sent you a private comment, you’ll see Comment next to the work.
- (Optional) To see details or answers, click the work View Details.
- (Optional) To filter the student's work, under Filters, click Turned in, Returned with grade, or Missing.
You can email the list to the student. You can also email it to the student's guardian if email summaries for guardians are turned on. For more details, see Set up guardian email summaries.

- Click the class and choose an option:
- At the top, click People and then the student's name.
- At the top, click Classwork and then click an assignment or question and on the left, click the student’s name. Then, on the right, click their name again.
- Click Email .
- Next to Student, click the Down arrow and select Student, Guardians, or Student and guardians.
- (Optional) Enter a message.
- Check the Include student work summary box and click Send.
