You can use a rubric to mark and give feedback. You can mark rubrics from the Student work page or the marking tool.
After you start marking, you can't edit or delete the assignment's rubric.
You aren't required to attach rubrics to marked assignments.

Note: You might notice slight visual differences between tablets and phones.
On a mobile device, you and your students can only view rubrics. To create or mark a rubric, use your computer.
See a rubric
You can see a rubric on mobile after creating it on the web version of Classroom.
- Tap Classroom the class.
- Tap Classwork.
- Tap the assignment Instructions the rubric.
- To collapse or expand the rubric, tap the rubric.
- To see a criterion’s level descriptions, tap View description, and then scroll horizontally.
Select a rating for each criterion
The rubric score automatically updates as you select rating levels.
- Tap Classroom the class.
- Tap Classwork the assignment.
- Next to a student's name, tap their mark Rubric.
- Tap a criterion to expand.
- To see the level descriptions, swipe horizontally.
- To assign a rating level for each criterion, choose one:
- On the rating level that you wish to assign, tap Select.
- Tap a rating level for each criterion.
Note: To undo your selection, in the expanded criterion, tap Clear .
Manually change the total mark
You can manually enter a total mark for a student's assignment.
- Tap Classroom the class.
- Tap Classwork the assignment.
- Next to a student's name, tap their mark.
- Enter a new or revised mark.
The mark saves as a draft. - (Optional) To return the mark, next to the student's name, tick the box tap Return and confirm.
