You can track your walks, runs, bike rides, and more on Google Fit. Check how many steps you took and see how long you rode your bike, played soccer, or went skiing.
You can see your workout history on all devices where you use Fit. If something isn’t accurate, edit the activity.

- Calories
- Distance. Note: Distance isn't tracked for stationary biking.
- Weight. Note: Enter your weight manually to track it.
Get real-time stats
You can see live info about your activities, such as pace during a run.
Fit might use sensors available on your device to help calculate these metrics.
- On your watch, open the Google Fit app .
- Scroll down and tap Fit Workouts .
- Select the workout you’re about to do. If you’re asked, select your Google Account.
- Tap to start the workout.
You'll see stats like time, steps, calories, distance, and elevation.
Get better statistics
For fuller and more active tracking, give Google Fit access to Health on your iPhone.
- On your iPhone, open the Google Fit app .
- At the bottom, tap Profile.
- At the top, tap Settings .
- Under "Activity Tracking," tap Track your activities with Health.
- Turn on Let Google Fit access Health.
- If necessary, follow the instructions to sync Fit with Health.
Note: You can also toggle the announcements on and off during the activity by tapping Sound .
Delete your data
Delete your activity
- On your iPhone, open the Google Fit app .
- At the bottom, tap Profile.
- At the top, tap Settings .
- Tap Manage your data.
- Next to the type of data you want to remove, tap Delete.
- Confirm that you want to delete the data.
Delete your location data stored in Fit
- On your iPhone, open the Google Fit app .
- At the bottom, tap Profile.
- At the top, tap Settings .
- Tap Delete your data Location.
- Confirm you want to delete the data, then tap Delete.
