1. Can I migrate campaigns online?
No. At the moment, the ad conversion tool only supports converting and migrating search campaigns.
2. Why should I register for Google Ads if I already have Gmail?
You need to be signed in to Google Ads for the system to transfer campaigns to your account. If you don't have a Google Ads account, you'll need to create one.
3. Why can't I upload my campaigns to the ad conversion tool?
The Ad conversion tool can only recognize ad campaign files from Naver in CSV, ZIP and TSV formats.
Make sure that the files are fully downloaded, not corrupted, and are unchanged after being uploaded from Naver. For more information, please see Uploading files.
4. Why are there errors in the campaigns I've downloaded?
The files may have been damaged or changed. You may have exported ad campaigns that were created a long time ago. In this case, the export file format does not meet the current requirements.
5. Is it safe to upload my campaigns to the ad conversion tool?
The information we hold may include Google customer identification numbers and information about converted advertising messages and campaigns. We hold this information in order to provide, maintain and optimize our services. This practice also helps us measure performance while protecting Google, advertisers and others.
6. Can I migrate campaigns for multiple client accounts at once?
We recommend that you only migrate data for one client account at a time.
7. What should I budget for campaigns?
To start, we suggest specifying a daily budget, similar to what you use in Naver.
8. Why can't I change the currency for the budget?
- The campaign currency is set automatically according to the currency of your Google Ads account.
- The Campaign Conversion System does not convert currencies. If your Naver Account currency differs from your Google Ads account currency, your original bids will be transferred without translation at the current exchange rate (for example, 100 KRW will be transferred as $100). After the campaigns have been uploaded to your Google Ads account, we recommend checking these values and, if necessary, making the appropriate changes.
9. Can I change my budget later?
Yes. You can change your budget later, in Google Ads or in Google Ads Editor.
10. Why does my campaign need add-ons?
The campaign formats for Naver and Google Ads are different. After the campaigns are loaded, you need to make changes to the campaign settings, ad texts and titles, and other campaign settings. For more information, please see Migration considerations for Google Ads.
11. How can I change the settings for all my campaigns at once?
Make the desired changes to the settings for one campaign and save them. You can then share these settings to all the campaigns in the list. Use the ‘Apply settings to all campaigns’ button. For more information, please see How to apply settings to all campaigns.
12.How do I change settings for multiple ads at once?
To change settings for multiple ads, select the ads from the list. To select ads that require add-ons, you need to select the Add-ons only option, and then select all the ads in the list by checking the box next to the ad list title. Click on any ad, make your additions following the prompts, and save. For more information, please see How to edit multiple ads at the same time.
13. Why can't I see my migrated campaigns in Google Ads?
- If you don't see some campaigns, check to see if there is a filter on the list of campaigns.
- You can find detailed instructions on how to change the display filter here.
