Before you begin
You can integrate your Wix site with Google for free but you must have a Premium Wix site and a connected domain.
The instructions for setting up the Google tag are different for different tag IDs, so you’ll need to follow the instructions that correspond with your tag.
If you have a tag starting with "AW-"
Tags that start with “AW-” are generally associated with Google Ads accounts.
- In your Wix account, on the site dashboard in the left navigation panel, click Settings. If you have multiple sites, first select the site to navigate to the site dashboard.
- Under “Advanced”, click Marketing Integrations.
- In the “Google Ads Conversions” box, click Connect.
- Click Add Google Ads Tag.
If you have a tag starting with "ignored"
Tags that start with “ignored” are generally associated with Google Analytics accounts.
- In your Wix account, on the site dashboard in the left navigation panel, click Settings. If you have multiple sites, first select the site to navigate to the site dashboard.
- Under “Advanced”, click Marketing Integrations.
- In the “Google Analytics box”, click Connect.
- Click Add Google Analytics ID.
