Performance Max for Marketplaces helps you reach more customers and drive more sales of your products using a marketplace. After you connect your Google Ads account to the marketplace, you can create Performance Max campaigns that send shoppers to your products there. You don’t need to have your own website or Google Merchant Center account.

How it works
To use Performance Max for Marketplaces, you must have:
- A marketplace seller account with one of the marketplaces that support this program.
- A Google Ads account. If you don’t have one, you can create one.
To get started, you’ll need to link your Google Ads account to the marketplace. Then, you can use your Google Ads account to create a Performance Max campaign that sends traffic to the marketplace you sell on.
After you successfully create a campaign, you can view performance data or edit your campaign directly in Google Ads.
Conversion tracking
Conversion tracking for your campaigns is configured by the marketplace. Only the sales of your own products are attributed to your Performance Max campaign. If someone buys products that are sold by other sellers on the marketplace after clicking on your campaign, these sales won’t be considered as conversions or included in your Google Ads campaign reporting.
