Experimental bids in Google Ads Editor

When you run a campaign experiment, you can add or edit experimental bids for ad groups and keywords in Google Ads Editor. However, to create, pause, or remove a campaign experiment, you must sign in to your Google Ads account. Edit keyword experimental bids

  1. In the account tree, select the account or campaign containing the keywords that you wish to edit.
  2. In the type list, select Keywords and Targeting > Keywords.
  3. In the data view, select the keywords to edit. To find particular keywords across your account, use advanced search.
  4. Expand the Experimental bid panel below the data view.
  5. In the Experimental bid panel, either edit the maximum CPC bid or leave the field blank to keep the default ad group bid. To adjust the bid multiplier, enter a percentage for the Max. CPC multiplier.

Edit ad group experimental bids

  1. In the account tree, select the account or campaign containing the ad groups that you wish to edit.
  2. In the type list, select Ad groups.
  3. In the data view, select the ad groups to edit. To find particular ad groups across your account, use advanced search.
  4. Expand the Experimental bid panel below the data view.
  5. In the Experimental bid panel, either edit the ad group bids or leave them unchanged. To adjust the bid multipliers, enter one or more percentages for the Default max. CPC multiplier, Display Network max. CPC multiplier, or Max. CPM multiplier.
