Pause or resume a placement

1. In the tree view, select the account, campaign, or ad group containing the placements to update.
2. Select Placements.
3. Select one or more placements.
4. Change the Status in the drop-down menu in the edit panel, or select Edit > Remove, Pause, or Activate.

To pause or resume multiple placements, use the "Make multiple changes" tool. Simply include the new status (enabled, paused, or removed) with each placement, and the tool will update your placements in one step. Learn how to edit your placements.

You can use the "Make multiple changes" tool to replace your existing placements with a new list. In Step 1 of the tool, select the checkbox labeled "Replace the entire contents of the destination ad groups with these placements." Your existing placements will be removed and replaced with your new list.
