Pause or resume a placement

1. In the tree view, select the account, campaign or ad group containing the placements to be updated.
2. Select Placements.
3. Select one or more placements.
4. Change the Status in the drop-down menu in the edit panel, or select Edit > Remove, Pause or Activate.

To pause or resume multiple placements, use the 'Make multiple changes' tool. Simply include the new status (enabled, paused or removed) with each placement, and the tool will update your placements in one step. Learn how to edit your placements.

You can use the 'Make multiple changes' tool to replace your existing placements with a new list. In Step 1 of the tool, select the tick box labelled 'Replace the entire contents of the destination ad groups with these placements'. Your existing placements will be removed and replaced with your new list.
