happening and if anything needs your attention, like whether your lock is jammed, has been
tampered with, or has Privacy Mode turned on or off.

What the lights and sounds mean

Using the white button inside your home
After adding your lock to the Nest app, the white button inside your home turns Privacy
Mode on or off and lets you check if it’s on or off. When you turn on Privacy Mode, it disables

What the sounds mean
Your lock plays different sounds when the keypad is touched to confirm responses, such as locking and unlocking, and turning Privacy Mode on and off.
Note: If you can’t hear a tone when you press the numbers on the lock’s keypad or hear a chime when the door locks and unlocks, check your volume settings. On the app home screen, tap Settings select your lock tap Volume select Low or High.
