To help send money to friends and family, you can link a bank account in the Google Pay app.
If you set up a bank account, you can use Google Pay to send money to friends and family.
Add a bank account
Important: You can only add Standard Chartered Bank, OCBC, and DBS Paylah bank accounts.
Step 1: Choose your bank in Google Pay
- Open the Google Pay app

- At the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payment methods

- Tap your bank and continue to their website.

- On your bank’s website, sign in to your account.
- On your bank’s website, enter the one-time password that’s sent to the phone associated with your account.
- Choose the account you want to link with Google Pay.
- Accept the Terms of Service.
- To link your account to Google Pay, follow the on-screen instructions.
