How to Connect Your Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 to Your Phone

Note: If you received a replacement or purchased a single part replacement, the pairing process remains the same whether you received a replacement device or purchased a single part.

To set up your Google Pixel Buds, follow these steps:

Other devices

  1. Ensure that the earbuds and charging case are charged (white status light when the case is plugged in or opened).
  2. Open the Google Pixel Buds wireless charging case and keep the case next to your phone.
  3. Make sure that your phone is unlocked and your Bluetooth is on.
  4. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the wireless charging case until the status light starts pulsing white.

Select Google Pixel Buds from the list of new available Bluetooth devices.

Step 2: Fit your Pixel Buds

  1. Make sure the eartip is firmly attached to the earbud and doesn't easily pull away.
  2. Gently insert your earbuds. Left (L) and Right (R) indicators are on the earbuds. The earbud should tuck into the ear and you should slightly rotate it until it fits comfortably without any pressure.
  3. Pixel Buds come pre-attached with medium eartips. We recommend trying two different sizes for each ear before deciding on the final one. Ears are so unique that your left ear is likely different from your right ear.
  4. You can also run a guided check to ensure that you have the best seal by using the Eartip Seal Check within your Pixel Buds settings.

Refer to How to wear Pixel Buds to learn how to get the right fit for your Pixel Buds.
