Learn how to set and edit alarms, manage notifications and set notification modes through each of their icons.

Manage alarms and notifications
Set an alarm
- On your Google Pixel Watch, press the side button next to the crown.
- Swipe up to view all apps.
- Tap Alarm.
- Tap Add .
- Set a time tap Confirm .
Once your alarm has been created, it will be visible on the alarm screen.
Edit an alarm
Edit an alarm to:
- Change the alarm time
- Change schedule of alarms for days of the week
- Turn the alarm vibration on or off
- Turn the alarm sound on or off
- Delete the alarm altogether
- On your Google Pixel Watch, press the side button next to the crown.
- Swipe up to view all apps.
- Tap Alarm.
- Tap the alarm that you want to edit. From here, you can change its alarm settings.
Sync alarms
Copy your phone alarms by syncing them over to your Pixel Watch 2. Syncing your phone and your Pixel Watch 2 allows both devices to alert you for each alarm.
- On your phone, open Clock .
- Tap More Settings.
- Turn on Alarm sync.
- Select your watch and tap Sync.
Tap Alarm rings on to choose Adaptive ringing or Watch and phone.
Fix alarm sync issues
If the alarms on your watch and phone aren't syncing properly, check that the operating system on both devices has been updated to the latest version, and that the Clock app on both devices is also up to date. Make sure that your watch is currently connected to your phone.
Set up notifications
Set up the app and phone notifications that you want to receive on your Pixel Watch.
Turn on notifications
- On your phone, open the Google Pixel Watch app .
- Under 'Settings', tap Notifications.
- Tap a watch or phone app from the list to turn its notifications on or off.
Turn notification sounds on or off
- On your phone, open the Google Pixel Watch app .
- Under 'Settings', tap Notifications.
- Tap Mute notifications.
- Tap a mute setting from the list to turn its sound or vibration on or off.

Settings on the Google Pixel Watch

The following modes are turned on and therefore notifications are disabled:

Check your connection
- On the Google Pixel Watch, swipe down tap Settings .
- Tap Connectivity Bluetooth turn on Bluetooth.
- Swipe right to go back a menu and tap Wi-Fi turn on Wi-Fi.
If you're getting a 'network connection' error, you can fix issues connecting to Wi-Fi.
If you're not using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, confirm that your watch has an LTE operator plan:
- On Google Pixel Watch, swipe down tap Settings .
- Tap Connectivity Mobile.
Set notification modes
Select a notification mode to temporarily pause multiple notifications at once. Swipe down from the top of the Google Pixel Watch screen and tap an icon to quickly switch to:
Aeroplane mode
Cinema mode
Do Not Disturb
Turns off all notifications and silences incoming calls. Press and hold to customise exceptions for priority and repeat callers, alarms and media sounds.

Touch lock
Bedtime mode
Bedtime mode automatically turns on based on your detected sleep. You can manually turn it on or off by following these steps:
- On your Google Pixel Watch, press the side button next to the crown.
- Swipe up to check all apps.
- Tap to activate the Bedtime mode option.
- A prompt will appear. Simply tap to confirm.
- To turn if off, simply tap Bedtime mode .
