Creating feature products
To create a featured product, take the following steps:
- Go to the Featured products page (Grow users > Store presence > Promotional content > Events > Featured products).
- Click Add featured product.
- Select the product you want to feature from the In-app product dropdown.
- Add a featured product name for internal reference.
- Add targeting criteria for where and when you want your featured product to be shown to specific users.
- (Optional) Click Run offer to add an offer. If you want to add an offer, consider the following:
- Add an Offer ID for internal reference.
- Apply a discount.
- Optionally create a per user offer purchase limit.
- Add targeting criteria for where and when you want your offer shown to users.
- (Recommended) Attach promotional content assets:
- Create a compelling promotional content submission to further amplify your featured product's reach.
- Add a tagline, description, images, and (optionally) a video.
- Review your submission and click Submit.

- Set competitive prices.
- Consider offering discounts or limited-time offers to incentivize purchases.
- Testing: Test your featured products internally with license testers before launching them to the public.
- Promotional content: Create high-quality promotional content that adheres to Google Play's guidelines to maximize your reach and impact.
- Featured products and promotional content events must be created together.
- Play Billing Library: Integrate a currently supported live version of the Play Billing Library (version 5 or 6 recommended).
- (Recommended) Integrate the latest EAP version of Play Billing Library 6 to access additional features like discounting for your featured products.
- Fiat currency only: Currently, only fiat currency (for example, USD, EUR) is supported for featured product purchases. Ensure your IAPs are based on fiat currency.
