When you add the Play widget through the Google Play app, you can enjoy app organization, discover new content recommended by your apps, and resume content you have in progress directly from your home screen. By default, any app that’s installed and/or updated by Google Play and supports integration with Collections will display content in your collections. You can control which apps display content in your collections using Collections settings:
- If an app has a check mark on the right side of the tile, the app’s content will show in your collections.
- If an app doesn’t have a check mark on the right side of the tile, the app’s content won’t show in your collections.
- If an app has the download icon on the right side of the tile, the app isn’t currently installed on your device, and won’t be available to show in your collections.
- Tip: You can install an app with Collections.
- If an app doesn’t have an app tile, the app isn’t partnered with Collections, and the app’s content won’t show in your collections.
To change whether an app’s content will display in your collections:
- Find and tap your Play widget to open the full screen Collections experience.
- At the top right, tap the Profile icon Collections settings.
- Tap on a row.
- Select the apps whose content you want to view in your collections.
- Tip: Apps with a check mark on the right side of the tile will show content in your collections.
