You can set up Jamboard to use in video meetings. You can display upcoming meetings on the board or use it with Google Meet hardware.
Turn on videoconferencing
Skip this step if the Jamboard displays Meet in the top-right corner.
To use video meeting features on the board, turn on videoconferencing in the Google Admin console. You can then use the board as a standalone videoconferencing device. If you want to use Jamboard in larger meeting rooms, pair it with Google Meet hardware or one of our supported peripherals.
If you turn off videoconferencing, you’ll lose any calendar or device pairings, and won’t be able to start video meetings.

If you pair the Jamboard to a room calendar, it should display the contents of that room calendar resource on the Jamboard device without requiring you to modify the calendar’s external sharing options.
Troubleshoot calendar pairing
If you get an error when pairing to a calendar, try these steps:
-
Ask your super administrator to assign you the Services > Calendar role. Learn more about administrator privileges.
-
Check if the room resource has been deleted. If you don’t see the resource listed in the Admin console at DirectoryBuildings and ResourcesManage Resources, create a new resource, or pair the Jamboard to an existing resource.
Use Jamboard with Google Meet hardware
You can use Jamboard and Google Meet hardware together in video meetings. You can pair devices in the same room, then use Jamboard to quickly join meetings and present the screen to the participants. This setup works well for meeting rooms large enough for 6 or more people. For example, you can adjust the call volume on Meet hardware while your coworker takes notes on the board.
Note: Jamboard joins the meeting in presentation mode and does not include the filmstrip that shows other meeting participants.
