Schedule emails to send

You can schedule your emails to send at a later time. Scheduled emails may be sent a few minutes after the scheduled time.

Important: Your emails will be sent based on the timezone you schedule them in.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
  2. At the bottom right, tap  Compose.
  3. Create your email. 
  4. At the top right, tap More .
  5. Tap Schedule send and then select an option. 

Tip: You can have up to 100 scheduled emails.

View or change scheduled emails

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
  2. Tap Menu .
  3. Tap Scheduled
  4. Select the email you want to change and then Cancel send
  5. Tap the email again. 
  6. Create your changes. 
  7. At the top right, tap More .
  8. Tap Schedule send and then select an option. 

Cancel scheduled emails

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
  2. Tap Menu  and then Scheduled.
  3. Open the email you want to cancel. 
  4. Tap Cancel send.

Tip: When you cancel a scheduled email, it becomes a draft.
