You can submit your shopping data securely to Google via Google Cloud Storage. Google Cloud Storage is a new cloud-based storage service that allows you to store and access your data on Google's infrastructure. Google Cloud Storage is compatible with a number of cloud storage tools and libraries that work with services such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Eucalyptus Systems, Inc.
How it works
Interacting with Google Cloud Storage is similar to interacting with an SFTP server: you can submit and access files with a file transfer client. Instead of folders Google Cloud Storage uses "buckets." When you set up your Manufacturer Center account with Google Cloud Storage, Google automatically assigns you a private bucket for your shopping data. There are a number of benefits for retailers using Google Cloud Storage: enhanced security, up to 10 gigabytes in size, and flexible infrastructure that can be used for other applications as well.
Google Cloud Storage can be used by developers who would like to submit products to Manufacturer Center. Due to the nature of Google Cloud Storage, developers should have some technical know-how and experience in programming applications. Learn more about Google Cloud Storage.

We recommend using either gsutil or the gs python library to schedule uploads, but you can also use most S3-compatible clients.
- Example: gsutil -d cp <filename> gs://merchant manufacturer center 123456</filename>
Step 4: Verify your submission
Within 15 minutes of completing your submission, the Feeds page should report that Google is processing your data in the Status column.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my Google Cloud Storage account for other applications?
Yes. Any bucket that you create in Google Cloud Storage is owned and managed by you, and is separate from the Manufacturer Center. However, if you didn’t create your own Google Cloud Storage account, you only have access to the one Google Cloud Storage bucket created for you, and this bucket is intended solely for data going into Google Manufacturer Center.
Can I use the Manufacturer Center bucket for storing other data?
No. This bucket is intended solely for use with data intended for submission to Manufacturer Center. Google removes objects in this bucket shortly after submission.
