The curbside pickup feature allows you to promote your contactless pickup options for local inventory ads using either the pickup today or pickup later features. This feature places an indicator at the top of your ads, letting customers know they can take advantage of curbside or contactless pickup.
How it works
- A customer clicks a local inventory ad with curbside pickup availability text.
- The customer is directed to the retailer’s product detail page.
- On the retailer’s website, customers can select a store to view the selected item’s price and availability, buy it online, and select a contactless pickup option.
Step 1 of 2: Review eligibility requirements
Ensure you meet the following requirements before submitting your account for review:
- Complete local inventory ads onboarding and enable the pickup today or pickup later features.
- Provide a curbside or contactless pickup option to customers who purchase products on your website and prefer to pick up at your store.
- Allow customers to access curbside or contactless pickup options on your desktop and mobile websites without requiring customers to use an app.
- Identify your retail store locations that support contactless pickup by adding the “curbside pickup” attribute to your Google Business Profiles.
Step 2 of 2: Submit your account for review
Once you have added the “curbside pickup” attribute in your Google Business Profiles and reviewed the eligibility requirements, request a review of your account using the contact us form.
