Manage account links with partners

If you work with a partner to advertise your products on Shopping ads, list your products for free on Google, that partner may want to let Google know the services they manage on your behalf. They’ll do this by sending you a request to link your account to theirs. When you receive a request, confirm your business relationship with this partner by accepting the request, or decline it if you think it has been sent in error.

Linking your account will associate your Merchant Center account with the partner. This allows us to provide better support services to you and your partner (for example, to assist with merchant integrations). Linking doesn't give the partner access to your Merchant Center account.

This article explains how to accept and remove links between your Merchant Center account and a trusted partner.

Instructions

Follow these steps to manage your links with trusted partners:

Step 1 In your Merchant Center account, click the Settings & tools icon Tools and setting menu icon [Gear].

Step 2 Click Apps and services.

Step 3 To approve a link, click Accept in the “Action” column which is located in the “Third-party apps” tab.

Follow these steps to remove a link with a partner:

Step 1 In your Merchant Center account, click the Settings & tools icon Tools and setting menu icon [Gear].

Step 2 Click Apps and services.

Step 3 To remove the link, click Manage in the “Action” column which is located in the “Third-party apps” tab.

Step 4 Click Unlink.

Be sure to manage your account links carefully, and to remove any links if a partnership ends. If you don't remove the link, your data may still be available to that partner.
