About multi-client account reporting

In Merchant Center, use the multi-client account (MCA) home page to see a snapshot of aggregated multi-client account-level metrics and a sub-account list with approval and disapproval metrics.

This article explains the benefits of the MCA home page and how you may use the data provided.

On this page

Benefits

  • See a graphical overview of all sub-account metrics for the past 30 days.
  • Use a paginated list of sub-accounts to view key metrics for specific sub-accounts.
  • Download reports to analyse data in depth.

How to use

The MCA Overview page provides a high-level view of your sub-accounts' product data. On the bottom half of the page, you can view a paginated list of all sub-accounts, along with several key metrics. Sub-accounts are sorted by Merchant Center ID. Click on the sub-account name to navigate to that account. Note that this page shows sub-account metrics at a selected point in time.

Product issues

You can view active, pending and disapproved product data. Like the Needs attention tab, the MCA home page also allows you to filter by country, programme, marketing methods and whether available online or locally. This section contains issues that impact individual products, including data source processing, data quality and violations of Google's policy. If products are affected by multiple issues, they'll be included in all of them. You can see the list of affected sub-accounts, from the 'Affected accounts' column in the table under 'Product issues'.

Setup and policy issues

You can download a report with the relevant metrics for all sub-accounts. This section contains issues that affect an entire sub-account or an entire target country for a sub-account. This includes issues such as 'no linked Google Ads account' and 'no verified/claimed home page'.

Tip

You may use the MCA home page to explore historical data. Within the chart, click the date that you're interested in. After you've clicked, the hover line will be locked and the table (including a downloaded version) will reflect metrics at that time.
