Assistive promotion insights show common types of promotions that other retailers run on the same products that you sell. You'll see a few examples of promotions currently being run for each product, which can help you to understand the types of promotions on the market that other retailers are using to get clicks.

How it works
If you're eligible, you'll be able to see the price competitiveness report appear on the Growth tab. An account administrator must accept the Terms of Service upon opening the reports for the first time. In addition, make sure that you review the Market Insights policy. Once those steps have been completed, you can click into each report to learn more.
The assistive promotion insights within the price competitiveness report provide eligible merchants with examples of promotions found on a similar product from other sellers.
How to find the assistive promotion insights within the pricing report
To see your pricing report, follow these steps:
Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
Navigate to the 'Analytics' sections and click Products.
Click on the Pricing tab.
The 'Your prices compared to the price on Google' tab assesses the price distribution of your products compared to the prices that customers see on Google from you and other sellers. Go to the 'Price comparison across your brands' card to view the price distribution for your most popular brands compared to the prices that customers see on Google from you and other sellers. You can also identify products with the highest price gap percentage between your price and the price on Google by going to the 'Your products with the highest price gap' tab.
