Checkout shipping scenarios
Note: The examples here aren't exhaustive. We've included some alternative phrasing possibilities, but they may not cover your shipping options exactly. The most important thing to remember is that your shipping configuration must offer a fast and free delivery option, inclusive of processing and handling time.
Things to remember while setting up your shipping configuration:
- You can enter an actual date (for example, "Arrives by July 23") or the number of business days in a range (for example, "Arrives in 1-3 days").
- If you enter a date range, Google will use the longest estimated time.
- Google will automatically include processing or handling time in the delivery time calculation.
- The sum of handling and transit time shouldn’t exceed what's configured in your Merchant Center account. Even though it's within the specified definition of fast shipping, you may not be qualified if it exceeds the delivery speed specified in your Merchant Center account or shipping feed.
- Anyone should be able to access the checkout page with the estimated delivery date without having to sign in.
