Step 2: Verify your bank account

After you provide your virtual payment address (VPA), Google deposits a small amount into the bank account linked to your VPA. To verify that the bank account belongs to you, follow these steps:

1. Check the transactions in your bank account. Find the test amount from Google.
2. In your Google Pay account, go to the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) verification screen.
3. Enter the amount Google deposited in your bank account.

If the amount you enter matches the amount Google deposited into your bank account, you've verified your bank account successfully.
