Make a booking

Learn how to make a booking or purchase tickets from different types of businesses. You can also join or request to join the waitlist of participating restaurants. Learn how to join the waitlist.

Beauty

  1. To find the business where you want to make a booking, use Google Search, Maps, or the Google Assistant.
  2. In the business’ knowledge panel, click Book online.
    Tip: If the business doesn’t have booking on their knowledge panel, they’re not set up to receive bookings through Google.
  3. Find the service that you want. Online services are marked with online services.
  4. Click Book and then Select your desired date and time range.
  5. You can change your selected service under "Services," click Drop-down arrow Drop down arrow or See more.
  6. (Optional step not available for all businesses) Under "Staff," you may be able to select your preferred staff member. For example, a favorite barber. You can also select a staff member later, when you modify your booking.
  7. A list of available appointment times appears from which you can select the exact time and service you want to book.
  8. Depending on the business, you either pay at the time of booking, or in person. In the pop-up window that appears, fill out the required info.
  9. At the bottom, click Book or Request.

Fitness

  1. To find the business where you want to make a booking, use Google Search, Maps, or the Google Assistant. 
  2. In the business’ knowledge panel, click Book online.

  3. Select the date you want.
  4. Select a time for the class or service that you want. Online classes and services are marked with online services.

  5. (Optional step not available for all businesses) Under "Staff," you may be able to select your preferred staff member. For example, a favorite yoga instructor. You can also select a staff member later, when you modify your booking.
  6. Click Book now.
  7. Depending on the business, you either pay at the time of booking, or in person. In the pop-up window that appears, fill out the required info.
  8. Click Book.

Dining

  1. To find the business where you want to make a booking, use Google Search, Maps, or the Google Assistant.
  2. Click Reserve a Table.
    Tip: If the business doesn’t have booking on their knowledge panel, they’re not set up to receive bookings through Google.
  3. Select your desired party size, date, and time.
  4. Select the time you want from the list of available reservation times.
  5. In the pop-up window:
    1. Verify your contact info.
    2. Add any special requests.
  6. Click Reserve or Request. Some reservations require you to complete the booking on the partner’s booking page.

The Healthcare appointment availability feature lets you to book appointments with select healthcare facilities and practitioners through Google Search. Google provides this service on your behalf to make it easier to schedule healthcare appointments. For more information, consult this ​Help Center article.

Home Services

  1. Search for relevant service providers in Local Services.
  2. If available, click Schedule.
  3. Choose from the list of services.
  4. Choose a date and arrival window.
  5. Add any relevant notes to the service provider.
  6. Complete the contact info. 
  7. Provide an address for the service location.

Businesses that display a badge  beside their name and on their profile page are backed by the Google Guarantee.

After you complete your booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your booking details. If you bought tickets, you’ll also receive an email from the scheduling provider with your tickets attached. 

Request a booking

Some businesses may need to confirm or decline your booking after you submit your request. If an online booking provider isn't available, the Google Assistant may call the merchant on your behalf, limited to market and availability. Once the merchant has received your request, you’ll get another email either confirming or declining your booking request.

Important: Your reservation or appointment isn't finalized until you receive confirmation email of your booking from Reserve with Google.
