You can upload a bulksheet to a Google-owned sFTP endpoint using third-party sFTP software, or let the new Search Ads 360 pull the bulksheet from your sFTP server
Upload to a Google-owned sFTP endpoint from third-party software
- Download sFTP software and enter the sFTP server address, port number, username, and password that you obtained in the new Search Ads 360 when you created the Google-owned sFTP endpoint.
- Use the sFTP software to transfer the template you updated to the endpoint.
The uploaded metrics appear in the new Search Ads 360 within approximately 24 hours.
When you select your sFTP endpoint's purpose, ensure you drop your file to a specific subfolder (not the root folder) to ensure the system recognizes the connection's purpose.
Upload a one-time update
To upload a one-time update from your sFTP server, do the following:
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
- Navigate to a manager, sub-manager, or client account.
- Click the tools and setting icon .
- Under "Bulk actions", click Uploads.
- Click the plus button .
- (Optional) In “Upload spreadsheets”, click Download to obtain the correct template from the options presented for Campaign, Ad group, Text ad, Responsive search ad, Responsive display ad, Keyword, or Negative keyword.
Choose the Excel or CSV format option for the template you require, then edit to enter the changes you want to upload. - Under Source, select SFTP.
- Enter the Source URL* and your credentials.
- Select This account or Multiple accounts as you require.
- If you want to preview your changes, click Preview.
- The Preview dialog presents quantities for “Changes”, “Successful uploads”, and “Errors”.
- Click a number to view further details.
- Click Apply file to upload from here.
- The Preview dialog presents quantities for “Changes”, “Successful uploads”, and “Errors”.
- If required, select and enter details to Send an email when upload is finished.
- Click Save.
