This article applies only to Microsoft Advertising accounts in the new Search Ads 360.
Multimedia ads let you combine your own assets like images, headlines and descriptions to promote your product or service with large visual ads.
Multimedia ads are limited to 3 per ad group.
Instructions
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
- Navigate to a Microsoft Advertising client account.
- In the left page menu, click Ads & assets.
- Click the plus button and then click Multimedia ad.
- Enter a final URL.
- Enter a business name.
- Choose images for your ad. You can upload new images, select existing images from your asset library, or choose from suggested images extracted from your website and social media profiles. Your images must meet the following aspect ratios and minimum dimensions.
Aspect ratio Minimum dimensions (pixels) 1.91 : 1 703 x 368 1 : 1 470 x 470 4 : 1 608 x 152 1 : 2 470 x 940 In the image selection tool, you can crop the selected images into the accepted aspect ratios.
You must choose at least one 1.91 : 1 aspect ratio image and one 1 : 1 aspect ratio image.
Accepted image file types are .JPEG and .PNG.
- Add headlines text
- Add long headlines
- Add description text.
- Choose a Call-to-action language and action text.
- As you complete the form, preview versions of your ad in the different image formats will appear instantly in the "Ad preview."
- When you're satisfied with your new multimedia ad, click Save.
Before your saved ad starts showing to customers, the advertising platform reviews the ad text to make sure it meets their policies. Your ad's status changes to "Approved" or "Eligible" when its text is approved.
