This article applies only to Microsoft Advertising accounts in the new Search Ads 360.
A search campaign (called "ad campaign" in Microsoft Advertising) shows text ads on search results pages when a customer searches on Bing or other sites. Ads are matched to search results pages based on the terms or phrases someone searches.
You need to create at least one ad group in a search campaign. For best results, create an ad group for each product or service you're advertising.
This article explains how to create a search campaign with ad groups.
Before you begin
Understand Microsoft Advertising campaign settings so you know how to set up your campaign to help meet your business goals.
Instructions
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
- From the page menu on the left, click Campaigns.
- Click the plus button .
- Select a Microsoft Advertising account.
- Select the Search campaign type, and then click Continue.
- Select campaign settings. Learn about campaign settings.
- Click Save and continue.
Search Ads 360 saves the campaign and shows ad group settings. In the background, Search Ads 360 posts your new campaign to Microsoft Advertising. - Select ad group settings. Learn about ad group settings.
- Optionally enter keywords to match the terms or phrases someone searches.
You can add more keywords and ad groups later. - Click Save and continue.
Search Ads 360 saves the ad group and keywords. In the background, Search Ads 360 posts the ad group and keywords to Microsoft Advertising. - Click Continue to campaign.
Search Ads 360 displays the ad groups page for your new campaign. Be sure to create at least one ad in each ad group.
