The status of a bid strategy tells you whether your bid strategies are active or not, and why they might be limited. It’s important to review the status of your bid strategies to ensure they’re running as expected. The new Search Ads 360 supports portfolio bid strategies and Google Ads standard or campaign-level bid strategies. This article shows you where to find the bid strategy status at the portfolio and standard levels.
Instructions
View the status of a portfolio bid strategy
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
- Navigate to a manager or sub-manager account.
- On the toolbar, click the tools and settings icon , and under "Shared library", click Bid strategies.
- The “Status” column shows the status of your portfolio bid strategies. Hover over the text to learn more about the status. For details, see bid strategy statuses.
View the status of a Google Ads standard bid strategy
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
- Navigate to a Google Ads client account.
- From the page menu click Campaigns.
- In the "Bid strategy type" column, click the bid strategy type to view the report.
Note: The “Bid strategy type” column shows the bid strategy of the campaign, even if it’s not a portfolio bid strategy.. If you do not see the “Bid strategy type” column and want to add it to the statistics table, click the columns icon above the table, click Modify columns, expand the Attributes section, and then click Bid strategy type.
