Report on Floodlight conversions

Remove or resume a Floodlight activity

To hide a Floodlight activity from Search Ads 360 and Campaign Manager 360 reports, you can remove the activity. If you want to see the activity again, you can resume it.

  • If you remove a Floodlight activity:

    • The activity and its metrics will not appear in reports by default. To display the metrics in Search Ads 360, from the Show list that appears below the Floodlight activities tab, select Show all.

    • You cannot view details for a bid strategy that includes the Floodlight activity as one of its conversion targets.

    • You cannot view formula columns or Floodlight columns that include the Floodlight activity.

    • Removing an activity does not prevent Floodlight from counting conversions and including the data in Campaign Manager 360 reports that show aggregate conversions. To stop a Floodlight activity from being counted, remove the Floodlight tags from your website.

  • If you resume a removed Floodlight activity, it will reappear in the default view as Active.

Only an agency manager or advertiser manager can change the status of Floodlight activities in Search Ads 360.

Follow these steps to remove or resume a Floodlight activity:

  1. Navigate to an advertiser.

Steps for navigating to an advertiser
    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. In the left navigation panel, click Advertiser settings.

Don't see Advertiser settings? Only Search Ads 360 agency managers or advertiser managers can see Advertiser settings in the left navigation panel.

  3. Click the Floodlight▼ tab and select Floodlight activities.
The current Floodlight activities for the advertiser appear.

  4. Optionally use a filter to display only the Floodlight activities you want to remove or resume.
For example, you can filter by Floodlight activity group to show only the activities in a specific group.

  5. In the reporting table, select the check box next to one or more Floodlight activities.

  6. Click Edit in the toolbar above the table. Depending on the Floodlight activity’s current status, you can select Remove or Resume from the dropdown.
