Example 3: Create a revenue replacement instruction for an activity

A finance advertiser has a credit card application that is always worth the same amount ($20) for each conversion. The advertiser follows these steps to create a revenue replacement instruction for the Credit Card Application Floodlight activity:

1. Navigate to an advertiser.

   Steps for navigating to an advertiser

   1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

   2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

   3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

   4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

   Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

2. In the left navigation panel, click Advertiser settings.
   
   Don't see Advertiser settings? Only Search Ads 360 agency managers or advertiser managers can see Advertiser settings in the left navigation panel. 

3. Click the Floodlight▼ tab and select Floodlight instructions.
   The current Floodlight instructions for the advertiser appear.

4. Click + Floodlight instruction, which appears above the reporting table.

5. From the Apply instruction to list:

   1. Select Floodlight activity.

   2. Select the Credit Card Application Floodlight activity.

6. From the Floodlight instruction type list, select Amount revenue replacement.

7. Enter $20 in the box that appears.

8. Click Save.
   Search Ads 360 adds the Floodlight instruction to the table.

The instruction is applied to new conversions going forward. In some situations (for example, data reprocessing), Search Ads 360 might also apply the instruction to conversions that occurred in the past.
