Bar charts offer a few extra options for displaying data.
Horizontal
Select the horizontal option to display the time line on the vertical axis and the metrics on the horizontal axis. Instead of starting from the bottom of the chart, the bars will start from left.Reverse
The Reverse button appears after you do either of the following:
-
Compare to past and add a segment.
By default, the chart displays the segment along the horizontal axis and uses colored bars to display metrics from the past time period. The Reverse button displays the time periods on the horizontal axis and uses colored bars to display metrics for each segment. -
Add two segments.
By default, the chart displays the first segment along the horizontal axis and uses colored bars to display the second segment. The Reverse button switches the order: the first segment displays as colored bars and the second segment displays along the horizontal axis.
Stack bars
You can select the Stack bars check box if you've added only one metric to the chart and have done either of the following:
-
Compare to past and add a segment.
The Stack bars check box displays the time segments in a single bar, using colors to differentiate each segment, instead of displaying them next to each other. -
Add two segments.
The Stack bars check box displays the second segment in a single bar, using colors to differentiate each segment, instead of displaying them next to each other.
