Call type segment

Segment AdWords Call metrics report

Displays how the call to your Google forwarding number call was made. For example, you can see if the call was manually dialed or from a call-extension or call-only ad.

Segment a Call metrics report to group the data by:

  • Google Search. Indicates that call to a Google forwarding number that is on a website was manually dialed.
  • High-End Mobile Search. Indicates that call originated from clicks on a phone number in a call extension or Call button in a call-only ad.

 

Segment a Call metrics report
  1. Navigate to a Google Ads engine account, campaign, or ad group.
  2. Click the More▼ tab, and then click Call metrics.

  3. Above the performance summary graph, click Segment.
  4. Click +Segment ▼. In the Search box, type the segment name, and then click the name.
