Create and manage engine track accounts

Add clickserver URLs to adMarketplace engines

To attribute visits and conversions to campaigns in Search Ads 360, clicks need to be redirected to Search Ads 360 using the Search Ads 360 tracking URL (clickserver URL). Each clickserver URL has unique IDs that Search Ads 360 uses to track unique visits to your site and to attribute any conversions during a visit back to the specific campaigns and keywords that led to the visit.

If you're currently using placeholder keywords to track adMarketplace conversions in Search Ads 360, you can preserve the Search Ads 360 performance history of your adMarketplace keywords, but you'll need to follow a specific set of steps.

How to add clickserver URLs

Follow these steps if you are not using placeholder keywords to track adMarketplace conversions in Search Ads 360:

  1. In Search Ads 360, find the ID Search Ads 360 generated for the adMarketplace engine account you created:
    1. Navigate to your advertiser.
Steps for navigating to an advertiser
      1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

      2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

      3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

      4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

    2. Click the Engine accounts tab and add the Account ID column.
    3. Copy the value from the Account ID column.
  2. Contact your adMarketplace representatives and give them the account ID you copied in the previous step.
  3. Make sure adMarketplace has access to the full landing page URLs you use for each keyword.

For example, if you're using a third party tracking service (in addition to Search Ads 360), make sure your keywords URLs in adMarketplace include the redirection URL for the additional third-party tracking service. Don't include the Search Ads 360 clickserver URL.
