You can make purchases with your Osaifu-Keitai device in stores that support contactless payments with PASMO in Google Wallet.

What you need
- To add an e-money card, your device must be Osaifu-Keitai compatible.
- You can only have one PASMO card on your device at a time.
Add a new PASMO card
You can create a new PASMO card or convert a plastic PASMO card on Google Wallet.
Create a new PASMO card- On your device, open the Google Wallet app .
- At the bottom, tap Add to Wallet .
- Tap e-money PASMO.
- Select New anonymous card.
- Review the Terms of service.
- Tap Accept.
- Add money to your new PASMO card.
You can transfer the value and settings of a personalized plastic PASMO card to your device.
Tip: Once the transfer is complete, your balance will be available the next day after 5 AM.
- On your device, open the Google Wallet app .
- At the bottom, tap Add to Wallet .
- Tap e-money PASMO.
- Select Convert a personalized plastic card.
- Review "Terms of service."
- Tap Accept.
- To convert your plastic card, follow the on-screen steps.
- Make sure the information matches the information registered on your PASMO card.
- After you initiate the transfer, your plastic card will be invalidated.
- If you have a commuter pass, you can use it immediately. The balance transfer completes by 5 AM the next day.
- When the balance transfer is complete, you can top up PASMO.
Add an existing PASMO card
If you already have a PASMO card, you can add it from your phone or from Osaifu-Keitai.
Add a PASMO card stored on your phone- On your device, open the Google Wallet app .
- At the bottom, tap Add to Wallet .
- Tap e-money PASMO.
- When a card is found, tap Continue.
- Review the Terms of Service.
- Tap Accept.
- On your device, open the Google Wallet app .
- At the bottom, tap Add to Wallet .
- Tap e-money PASMO.
- To add the stored card, tap Go to app.
- In the Osaifu-Keitai app, follow the steps to retrieve your card.
- In Google Wallet, follow the steps to Add a PASMO card stored on your phone.
Activate your PASMO card
If you have another transit card, such as Suica, you must set your PASMO card as your active transit card to use it on transit and in stores.
- On your device, open the Google Wallet app .
- Select your PASMO card.
- If your PASMO card is gray, tap Activate.
- In “Activate for transit?" tap Activate.
Tips:
- You can switch your default transit card anytime. Follow the steps above for the transit card that you want to use by default.
- To top up your PASMO card, you must activate it first.
