Important: Your existing Suica or PASMO card can only be on one device at a time, but can be moved anytime. If you transfer your card to a new device, it will be removed from the previous one.
You can transfer your existing mobile Suica and PASMO card to other devices with the Google Wallet app.
Before you start a transfer:
- You need an existing Suica or PASMO mobile card created on an Android or Wear OS device.
- Certain cards can't be transferred, such as some transit cards. You can check for card eligibility on the screen.
- To transfer an e-money card, your new device must be Osaifu-Keitai compatible. Learn how to add PASMO to Google Wallet or add payment methods to Google Wallet.
- To use Suica on your watch, you must have a Wear OS smartwatch that supports FeliCa. Learn how to pay with Suica on smartwatch.
- Have both your current device and the device you want to transfer to ready.
Transfer an existing Suica or PASMO card to your Phone
Google Wallet app- On the phone you want to transfer your card to, open the Google Wallet app .
- At the bottom right, tap + Add to Wallet E- money Suica or PASMO.
- Sign in to your account.
- Tap Continue.
- Select the cards you want to transfer.
- Tap Continue.
- Accept the "Privacy & terms."
- On your old device, confirm the request to transfer the card to your new device.
- If your old device is a smartphone: Tap Continue.
- If your old device is a Watch (Suica only): Tap Done .
- After the card is removed from your old device, go to your new device, tap Next.
- If you’re transferring multiple cards, select your active transit card.
- Once the transfer is complete, you can now use Suica or PASMO on your new device.
Transfer a Suica card to your Watch
Google Wallet app- On your Watch, open the Google Wallet app .
- Tap Next Suica Continue.
- On your watch, if prompted, follow the sign-in instructions.
- Tap Done .
- Select whether you want to transfer a card or create a new one.
- To transfer an existing card:
- Tap Transfer from another device.
- Select the card that you want to transfer.
- To create a new card: Tap New personalized card.
- To transfer an existing card:
- Read the "Privacy & terms."
- Tap Accept.
- On your old device, confirm the request to transfer the card to your new device.
- If your old device is a smartphone: Tap Continue.
- If your old device is a Watch: Tap Done .
- After the card is removed from your old device, on your new device, tap Next.
- After the transfer is complete, tap Got it.
Troubleshooting
I tried to transfer my card between devices but didn’t receive a request to transfer the card on my previous device.Make sure both devices are connected to the internet and try again. If you still don’t receive a notification on your old device:
- Go to the Google Wallet app .
- To manually initiate transfer, tap on card details Move to another device.
If you can’t access your old device, contact your card service provider support to re-issue the card on your new device.
After I tried to transfer a card, I can't find it.
Your card is saved to your account and it can be re-added to your device any time. To add it to your device:
- Go to the Google Wallet app .
- Tap + Add to Wallet E- money Suica or PASMO.
Tip: You can also check your card status on your device in the Osaifu-Keitai app.
To add a new card, check your service provider’s app.
