Set your sound preferences
- Open Waze
- Tap
- Tap Settings
- Tap Voice and sound
- Next to "Sounds", select your sound preference:
- On: Get navigation guidance and alerts
- Off: No sounds at all
- Alerts only: Get alerts only
Update your sound preferences during a drive
- Tap the sound icon next to your ETA
- Select your sound preference:
- Sound off: No sounds at all
- Alerts only: Get alerts only
- Sound on: Get navigation guidance and alerts
- Tap OK
Change the volume
- Open Waze
- Tap
- Tap Settings
- Tap Voice and sound
- Move the "Guidance volume" slider upward or downward to adjust the volume
Android Auto

- Open Waze

Step 1: Clear your cache
- Open Waze
- In the search bar, enter ##@cctts (all lower case)
- On your device's keyboard, tap the search icon
Step 2: Reset your voice settings
- Open Waze
- Tap
- Tap Settings
- Tap Voice and sound
- Tap Waze voice
- Tap the voice you want to use
How can I mute Waze during calls?
