In the Partner Hub, you can create new events, edit existing ones, and view all your future, active or pending events.
- Open the Partner Hub
- Click Events
- Click +
- Enter an address for your event
- Enter the start and end times for each closure, along with the start and end dates
- Click Next
- Enter the event name
- Enter the event category
- Enter the event description
- Enter the event website
- Select who will upload closures to the map?
- To upload the closures yourself, select I will upload the closures
- To ask the Waze team to upload the closures, select Waze and then click Upload file to add the closure information
You can upload closure data as a spreadsheet, a screenshot, or a map image. Click the option below for more information.
Spreadsheet
When uploading a spreadsheet, make sure to:
- Include a full list of the street names that will be closed during the event
- Specify the names of intersecting streets and where each closure begins and ends
- Include start and end times and dates for each closure
- Indicate whether the entire road will be closed or only one direction will be affected

When uploading a screenshot, make sure to:
- In your email, include the start and end times, along with the start and end dates, of each closed road
- Clearly mark the closed road(s) on the screenshot
Map image
When uploading a map image, make sure to:
- Highlight the affected road(s)
- Include a legend or text overlay displaying the names of the affected roads
- Include the start and end times, along with the start and end dates, of each closed road
- Click Next
- Enter the parking lot details:
- Select "No" if you don't have parking lots associated with the event or if you want to create parking lots after the event is approved
- Select "Yes" to choose an existing parking lot associated with the event
- Click Save
Edit event details
- Open the Partner Hub
- Click Events
- Under "Future Events," find the event you want to edit
- Review the details of the event
- Click the event name
- Click the three dots
- Select Edit
- Make the relevant changes
- Click Save Changes
Add a parking lot to an existing event
- Open the Partner Hub
- Click Events
- Under "Future Events," select the event you want to add the parking lot to
- Click the Parking lots tab
- Click Add parking lots
- Select the parking lot you want to add or create a new one
Add a road closure
- Open the Partner Hub
- Click Events
- Under "Future Events," select the event you want to add the closure to
- Click the Closures tab
- Click Upload file. Waze will upload the closure to the map.
Create a duplicate of an event
- Open the Partner Hub
- Click Events
- Under "Future Events," find the event you want to edit
- Click the three dots
- Select Duplicate
Delete an event
- Open the Partner Hub
- Click Events
- Under "Future Events," find the event you want to edit
- Click the three dots
- Select Delete
