Next, set up your MySQL and CouchDB databases.
Note: Google Workspace Migrate supports CouchDB configured with HTTPS but does not support digest authentication.
Set up the databases
- Enter the following information:
- Host name—Host name or internal IP address of the MySQL or Couch DB server.
- Port—Port number that the server is using. The default is 3306 (MySQL) or 5984 (CouchDB).
- Username—Enter migrate.
- Password—Enter the password generated when you installed the database (not the root password).
Note: If you installed the database using the command line, the password was specified by the /AdminPassword parameter.
- If you're using CouchDB with TLS, check the Use HTTPS box and complete these steps:
- Open CouchDB’s local.ini file.
- Locate the [ssl] section and add enable = true.
- Save the file.

- Click Continue.
- (Optional) To edit the database settings later, in the Google Workspace Migrate platform, click Settings Database settings.
