Manage your artist roster

Use the Artist Roster tool to navigate between and view insights across your artists. If you have permission to manage at least two Official Artist Channels, Artist Roster will automatically appear in YouTube Studio.

Note: Official Artist Channels supported by Brand accounts are not supported in the Artist Roster view. To view these channels, use the account picker in the top right corner of YouTube Studio. To include these channels in your Artist Roster, you must work with your Artist to switch the OAC to channel permissions.

View your roster

From your roster, you can view artist performance based on views and unique viewers over the last 7 days. To view your roster,

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
  2. Tap the account picker in the top right corner.
  3. Select Artist Roster from the menu.
  4. Tap the Artists tab to view your entire roster as a list.

By default, rosters are sorted in alphabetical order. Tap Sort by to organize your roster by views, unique viewers, and shorts published in the last 7 days. Directional arrows show whether an artist is trending up or down.

To view Artist Analytics, tap on an artist name within your roster. Then, follow the steps above to return to your roster.

Compare artist performance

Use the Insights tab to understand changes in artist performance across your roster throughout a given week.

  • Artist trends: If an artist’s weekly views change by more or less than 5%, we’ll indicate this in the Insights tab. We’ll show up to 5 artists at once, along with the top song, video, or Short that contributed to this change. To view insights for additional artists, tap See all.
  • Top Songs in Shorts: View the top 50 songs used in Shorts across your roster. Top Songs in Shorts are sorted in descending order, based on Shorts creations in the last 7 days.
  • Fastest Moving Songs in Shorts: See songs with the greatest surge in Shorts creations compared to their daily average over the last 14 days. Songs are ordered by growth in Shorts, which is calculated by comparing the latest day’s Shorts published to the average of the 14-day period prior to that day. Any songs released for less than 5 days will not be included.
