You can turn off Google Meet hardware in your organization. You might want to do this if you’re transitioning to another video conferencing service, if a Meet hardware unit needs repair or is reaching end of life, or if you’re removing video conferencing hardware from a meeting space. Depending on how you use Meet hardware, you might not need to complete all of the tasks listed below.
Google Calendar
Turn off automatic video meetings in Google Calendar.
Note: Users can still manually add Google Meet links to events after you turn off automatic video meetings.
Google Meet add-in for Microsoft Outlook
If you installed the Google Meet add-in for Microsoft Outlook, remove it. For details on turning off an add-in for Outlook, refer to your Microsoft documentation.
Google Meet on Jamboard
If you use Jamboard for video meetings, turn off video conferencing.
Room resources
If you added video conferencing details to a room resource, such as a description, features, or other information, you might want to edit or remove them.

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

In the Admin console, go to Menu DirectoryBuildings and resourcesManage resources.
- Click a room resource.
- Click Details or FeaturesEdit .
- After you make your changes, click Save.

If you created a report for video conferencing data, delete it.
Google Meet hardware
Deprovision your device to revoke the license.
If you plan to use the device again, wipe and re-enroll it.
Network configuration
If you allowlisted Meet’s media servers, remove them.
Turn off Google Meet
To turn off Google Meet, go to Turn off all video conferencing for your organization.
