- A Google Account: If you're using Gmail or any other Google service, you already have one. If not, you can create a Google Account when you create your Ad Manager account.
- Your own content created from scratch: This can be your site, app, or video, as long as you're the owner and it complies with the Ad Manager Partner Guidelines.
- An invitation from an existing Ad Manager publisher to create an account.
How to create your account
To create your Ad Manager account, follow these steps:
- Find your email invitation in your inbox.
- Click Create your account.
- Sign in to your Google account.
- Select your billing country/territory.
- Choose your communication preferences.
- Read and accept the Ad Manager terms and conditions.
- Read and accept the parent publisher terms and conditions.
- Click Set up account.
Enter your customer information
Once you’ve created your account, we may need more information in order to fully activate your account. It's important that you enter this information correctly so that you can get paid.
If you've already entered this information for AdSense, AdMob, YouTube, or another Google product, you can skip these steps and go to Confirm your network settings.
- Choose whether you want an "Individual" or a "Business" Ad Manager account.
There's no difference in the services or payment structure between individual and business accounts. Individual accounts are paid out to the payee name of the account holder, whereas business account payments are made payable to the company name.
- Complete the following fields in the "Name and address" section:
- Name: For individual accounts, enter your full name exactly as it appears on your banking information. For business accounts, enter your company's name in the "Business name" field and the contact name for your company in the "Name" field.

- Name: For individual accounts, enter your full name exactly as it appears on your banking information. For business accounts, enter your company's name in the "Business name" field and the contact name for your company in the "Name" field.
- Address: Enter your full postal address.
You must be able to receive mail at this address. When your account balance reaches the verification threshold, we'll mail you a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You'll need to enter the PIN in your Ad Manager account before we can send you any payments.
- Enter your “Payment admin and primary contact”.
- Click Save.
Confirm your network settings
- Choose your time zone.
- Choose the currency for your payment.
- Click Save.
These settings can only be changed until you’ve created your first order.
Verify your phone number

- Enter your phone number in international format.
Phone numbers in international format begin with a plus (+) sign, followed by the country code, the area code, and the phone number:
+(Country code)(Area code)(Phone number)
Examples: +14155552671, +441234567890 - Choose whether you’d like to receive your verification code by text message (SMS) or voice call.
- Click Send.
- On the next page, enter the 6-digit verification code that we sent to that phone number.
- Click Submit.
