You can keep track of upcoming birthdays using Google Calendar. You can create, hide, or change the color of birthdays on your calendar.
- The birthday information syncs with your calendar when you add a person and include their birthday in Google Contacts.
- You can edit or remove birthday information about the person in the Contacts
app for Android or Google Contacts.
- If you want notifications about a specific birthday, you can create a birthday event on your calendar.
- You can do these actions for manually created birthdays, but not for birthdays imported from Google Contacts:
- Turn on notifications.
- Delete them.
- Add individual colors.
- You can hide all birthdays on your calendar. This hides both manually created birthdays and those imported from Google Contacts.

- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- On the left, find "My calendars."
- To expand it, click My calendars.
- Hover your mouse over "Birthdays."
- Uncheck the box.
Change the color of birthdays on your calendar
Important: This setting changes the color of all birthdays from Google Contacts. Manually created birthdays can be individually changed to different colors.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- On the left, find "My calendars."
- To expand it, click My calendars.
