Minimum requirements

These are the requirements you’ll need to meet to show your product page. If you don't follow these requirements, Google will disapprove your CSS product page (CPP) and let you know in your CSS Center.

  • Don’t choose a headline offer with a price that constantly changes, such as offers that are purchased by auction or have a price based on a live currency exchange.
  • Keep your headline offer price up to date. If the price changes, make sure to provide the latest price value.
  • Make sure that the price in your product data meets the CSS landing page requirements.
  • Ensure the amount and currency match the price on your CPP, on the landing page, and at checkout. Learn more about currency requirements for your target country.
  • The price must be prominent on your CSS product page. If you have multiple variants for this product listed on your product page, make sure the product variant and corresponding price you submit for your headline offer are the most prominent.
  • Don’t change the headline offer price on your landing page based on a user’s location.
  • The product must be in stock and shoppers must be able to purchase it online for the price that you submit, regardless of their location and without paying for a membership. Membership prices are allowed only if the following conditions are fulfilled:
    • There is no signup fee and the membership is free.
    • The sign up process is clear and can be completed on the landing page or during checkout.
    • The discounted price with membership is displayed clearly on the landing page.
  • The price should:
    • Include value added tax (VAT).
    • Not include shipping costs.
    • Not include import-related or export-related costs. Instead, clearly indicate relevant charges on your website.
    • Be the total price of the minimum purchasable quantity, bundle, or multipack for products sold in bulk quantities, bundles, or multipacks.
  • Submit a price that’s greater than 0. Note: Currently, CSSs can’t choose a headline offer that provides a product with installments or subscription costs.
  • Include 2 digits or less after the decimal point. If you include more than 2 digits after the decimal point, the price will automatically be rounded to the nearest acceptable value. For example, 1.0234 will be rounded to 1.02 and 29.8999 will be rounded to 29.90.
  • Follow local laws when submitting price information.
