Change your Google Classroom password

You can change your password or profile picture in Classroom. If you want to change your profile name that’s used in all Google services, contact your Google Workspace administrator. Learn who your administrator is.

Change your password

1. On your computer, go to classroom.google.com.
2. At the top left, click Menu Settings .
3. Under “Account settings,” click Manage.
4. On the left, click Security.
5. Under “How you sign in to Google,” click Password.
   • Enter your current password.
6. Click Next.
7. Enter your new password Enter your new password again.
   • We recommend that you create a strong password with at least 8 characters.
8. Click Change Password.

Tip: To collapse the menu, at the top left, click Menu .

Reset your password

• If you’re a student or teacher in a school who uses Google Workspace for Education, contact your Google Workspace administrator.
• If you use a personal Google Account outside of a school, change or reset your password.
