In Classroom, you can change your profile photo or password. Your Google Workspace administrator can change your profile name that's used in all Google services.
Change your profile name
Your Google Workspace administrator can change your first and last name that appears in all Google services. After they change your profile name, the new name appears in messages, shared documents, calendar invitations, and in your school's searchable directory. However, your email address and the name you use to sign in to your account doesn't change.
To change your profile name, contact your Google Workspace administrator.
Change your profile photo
You can display a profile photo next to your name in Classroom. If you teach in a school, your Google Workspace for Education profile picture is your Classroom profile photo. Once you add a profile photo, you can’t remove it—you can only replace it with a different photo.
Your photo can be a JPG, JPEG, or PNG file of up to 5 MB. Photos are scaled automatically, so they can be any dimensions.

- Tap Classroom

- In the top-left corner, tap Menu
Settings.
- Tap Account Settings
- Follow on-screen instructions to add or change a profile picture.
- Optional: To crop your photo, resize the box
- Click Save as profile picture.

- If you’re a student or teacher in a school that uses Google Workspace for Education—Contact your Google Workspace administrator.
- If you’re using a personal Google Account outside of a school—Go to Change or reset your password.
