Activate a Nest Aware or Fitbit Premium subscription with Google One

Google One Premium membership now includes Nest Aware and Fitbit Premium subscriptions at no additional cost to eligible members. If you aren’t subscribed to a Google One Premium membership, learn how to upgrade your membership.

  • Google One members with 2 TB or higher premium plans can activate Nest Aware and Fitbit Premium subscriptions.
  • Countries or regions where benefit is available: This benefit is currently only available in the United Kingdom.

Fitbit Premium

Manage your Nest Aware subscription

Important:

  • If you already have a Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription, you must apply the hanging entitlement generated by Google One to the same Home structure with your existing membership. This will automatically cancel and refund your existing membership.
  • To finalize setup, download the Google Home app .
  • When you cancel a Nest Aware subscription, you'll lose your sound detection clips and any video you haven't saved. Before you cancel, learn how to save important clips.

Activate your Nest Aware subscription with Google One

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google One app Google One.
  2. At the bottom, tap Benefits.
  3. Find your Nest Aware benefit card.
  4. Tap Explore plan.
  5. To set up Nest Aware for your home, follow the on-screen prompts.
    • If needed, follow prompts to migrate your existing Nest Aware account to Google.

Cancel your Nest Aware subscription with Google One

To cancel the Nest Aware subscription (included in Google One), you must cancel or downgrade your Google One membership. Learn what happens when you cancel Google One.

Manage your Fitbit Premium subscription

Important:

  • If you purchased a Fitbit Premium subscription through Google Play with the Google Account linked to your Google One Premium membership:
    • Your Fitbit Premium subscription will be automatically canceled.
    • The remaining time on subscription will be refunded.
  • If you purchased a Fitbit Premium subscription through the Apple App Store or Fitbit.com:
    • To cancel your subscription and get a refund, check your inbox for an email with instructions on how to contact Fitbit Support.
    • To activate a new subscription with Google One, follow instructions below.
  • If you purchased a Fitbit Premium subscription and use a Fitbit Account:
    • You must migrate your Fitbit account to your Google Account that’s linked to your Google One Premium membership. This will automatically cancel your previous subscription.
    • To activate a new subscription with Google One, follow instructions below.
    • To get a refund for the remaining time on your subscription, contact Fitbit support.
  • If your existing Fitbit Premium subscription is canceled, you may not retain your data history.
    • Your Fitbit data history is tied to your Fitbit account. If you change your Fitbit account to the same account as your Google One subscription, data history will not transfer over.

Activate your Fitbit Premium subscription with Google One

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google One app Google One.
  2. At the bottom, tap Benefits.
  3. Find the Fitbit benefit card. 
  4. Tap Go to Fitbit.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Tip: If you’re already a Google One Premium member, you may also get a notification in the Fitbit app to activate your Fitbit Premium subscription.

Cancel your Fitbit Premium subscription with Google One

To cancel the Nest Aware subscription (included in Google One), you must cancel or downgrade your Google One membership. Learn what happens when you cancel Google One.
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Apple ID and then Subscriptions.
  3. Select Fitbit Premium.
  4. Under Membership plan, tap Google One Premium. This will open the Google One settings in the browser.
  5. Tap Cancel plan and then Cancel and then Cancel membership.

You already have a Nest Aware subscription, but it’s with a different Google Account from your Google One membership
  • Migrate your Nest account to the Google Account you used to subscribe to Google One.
  • Activate your Nest Aware through Google One.
You have a Google One 100 GB or 200 GB plan

These plans aren’t included and no changes will be made.

Issues with Fitbit Premium

You already purchased a subscription from the Apple App Store or Fitbit.com

We can’t automatically cancel the subscription. You’ll get an email with your options on how to activate your subscription. To cancel your Fitbit Premium subscription and get a refund for the remaining time on the subscription, contact Fitbit support.

  • Only Fitbit agents can cancel your subscription.
  • To keep your benefits, activate your new subscription through Google One.
You have a Fitbit Premium subscription linked to a different Google Account from your Google One membership
  • Migrate your Fitbit Premium subscription to the Google Account you used to subscribe to Google One.
  • Cancel existing Fitbit Premium subscription.
  • A Fitbit agent can give a refund for the remaining time on the subscription.
  • Activate Fitbit Premium through Google One.
