Learn more about points
- If you sign up for Play Points with your Android device, you still earn points on Google Play purchases you make with your computer or smart TV.
- You can’t purchase points or convert points to cash.
- You can only earn and use points on your individual account.
- If you have Google Play Points and change your billing country, your points and level don't carry over to the new billing country.
How to calculate points
To calculate points earned, multiply an item’s price by your level's earning rate. Round your points to the nearest whole number.
You earn points only for the base price of the item.
For example:
- At the Bronze level, you earn one point per Rp1,500 IDR spent on purchases. If you spend Rp7,500 IDR, you get 5 points.
- When you move to the Silver level, you earn 1.1 points per Rp1,500 IDR. If you spend Rp7,500 IDR, you get 6 points, rounded up from 5.5.
How you can use your points
Earned points count toward both Play Points balance and level progress.
- Play Points balance:
- Use points to unlock special items in apps and games or exchange them for Google Play Credit.
- When you use or exchange points, Play deducts the points from your balance.
- Points expire one year from the date of your latest points activity.
- Level progress:
- Points you earn in a calendar year count toward progress to the next level.
- Used points still add to your level progress.
- Once you reach a level, you keep that level until the end of the next calendar year.
When you return or cancel a purchase that you earned points on, Play deducts those points from your Play Points balance, including any new level, the new level earn rate and benefit.
