If you no longer want to receive calls or messages from someone, you can block them.
Meet has updated how blocking is handled. When you block someone in Meet:
- Their email account might be blocked across multiple Google products. Learn how to block or unblock people’s accounts.
- If you block their phone number in Meet, it is also blocked in Google Voice and Google Fi, and vice versa.
- Due to this change, in certain cases you might need to block contacts again. To reinstate the block, follow the blocking directions.
Tip: When you block someone from calling you in the Meet app, they can still join Group calls or Meet meetings with a shared link. Learn who can join your meetings.
